His recent film ‘Uproar’, which explores the complex gender dynamics affecting the Rumba music scene in Havana, had its world premiere at the Academy and BAFTA qualifying Sheffield Doc/Fest in 2020. ‘Uproar’ was named one of the top 10 short films in Sheffield Doc/Fest by Directors Notes and other reputable film platforms and critics, and won Best Cinematography in a documentary at the Centre Film Festival. Moe’s previous films screened at prestigious festivals such as The American Documentary Film Festival, The Brooklyn Film Festival, and the Academy qualifying Athens International Film and Video Festival. Moe directed films for Vice, commercials for Cadillac, Lenovo, Alfa Romeo, Red Bull, and Canon. He is currently based in London and developing a diverse collection of projects.
